Expert talent fast for AAV vector production.

Cell and gene therapy are very popular right now. Providers are having a hard time meeting the increasing demand for high-level talent and resources. Avid Bioservices is a dedicated commercial biologics CDMO that’s focused on the development and cGMP manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals. 

Clients were asking Avid to provide customized adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector production, but they didn’t have the capabilities or knowledge in house. They asked Kelly® Science & Clinical for help to quickly build out this hard-to-fill team.

Avid needed to hire someone with a specialized talent in biological science. The hiring process had to be quick and involve the whole team in a busy environment. So, Kelly added a full-time project lead on-site who funneled and chaperoned talent to interviews, collected team input, and supported faster onboarding.  

Soon the team filled all open roles with qualified biology scientist experts through either direct placement or a contract-to-hire basis. The on-site manager kept the project on track by collecting timely feedback and keeping all candidates engaged.
